Fairphone 3 Plus Review

1

Having looked at the specs, design, and performance of the Fairphone 3+ Black, I’ve come to the conclusion that it is a worthy competitor for the likes of Samsung’s Galaxy S5. It offers a good camera, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and a 4G connection. The design and build of the phone make it appealing to buyers. I’m also a fan of its large screen and fast speed.

Specs

Designed and manufactured by Fairphone, a Dutch manufacturer of high-tech mobile phones, the Fairphone 3 Plus is a modern marvel. It is the successor to the Fairphone 3 and offers several upgrades to the previous model. Some of the upgraded features include an octa-core CPU, a powerful Qualcomm snapdragon chipset, 4GB RAM, and a 3040 mAh battery. In addition, this smartphone runs on the Android 10 OS platform.

The Fairphone 3 Plus has a large 5.7-inch display with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and 427 pixels per inch (PPI) density. This phone also has some of the latest technologies and features, including the USB Type-C port, GPS, A-GPS, fingerprint sensor, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Design

Using modular design, Fairphone gives customers the power to upgrade their smartphones, replacing faulty components. The modular design also helps Fairphone create a more sustainable phone. The phone is made out of materials sourced from ethical operations, such as transparent factories.

Fairphone is the only phone manufacturer to receive a perfect 10/10 repairability score from iFixit. The modular design also gives Fairphone an edge over other manufacturers, allowing customers to repair or upgrade their phones at any time.

Fairphone 3 Plus offers an environmentally friendly smartphone that combines the best of traditional phone technology with the latest green features. The phone runs Android 10 and includes full access to Google Play Store. It also boasts a modular design and is made out of recycled plastics.

Build quality

Whether you’re looking for a device to use as a backup or want a spare to give to a friend, the Fairphone 3 Plus has you covered. Not only is it an eco-friendly phone, but it’s also a smartphone that’s repairable and comes with five years of support.

For starters, the Fairphone is made from 40% recycled plastic. The company sources its materials from fair, transparent operations, such as mines that support living wages. It also offers spare parts and software updates to help you keep your phone in tip-top shape.

It’s not a cheap phone, but it’s also one of the most repairable in the industry. The screen comes pre-installed with a GBoard keyboard application that allows quick text input. It’s also reasonably responsive to touch.

Camera

Whether you’re looking for a camera upgrade for your Fairphone 3 or replacing a broken camera module, Fairphone offers a solution. You can upgrade your Fairphone 3 and enjoy better photos with the new 48MP camera module.

Fairphone has updated its flagship smartphone to Fairphone 3 Plus. It now features a new 48MP Isocell GM1 image sensor and a new 8MP front camera. These new features are designed to take better pictures and videos. Fairphone 3 Plus also comes with Android 10 and Bluetooth 5.0. The 5.65-inch display has a 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, with 427 pixels-per-inch density.

Sound performance

Unlike other phones, the Fairphone 3 Plus has an audio system that can be stretched to last for hours. Its speakers are loud and have good bass, but the midrange and treble lack finesse.

The Fairphone 3 Plus’s audio output is not as good as the Fairphone 4, but the Fairphone 4 lacks a tremendous high-end. Besides, the midrange is very midrange focused.

The Fairphone 3 Plus’s display is an IPS LCD panel, which offers good viewing angles and nice colors. However, the IPS LCD panel is not as good as the OLED panels found on the iPhone X or Galaxy Note 8.

Fairphone 3 Plus has a 5.65-inch IPS LCD with 1080 x 2160 pixels. It also features a 32-bit Snapdragon 632 processor from Qualcomm with a 2.2GHz clock frequency. It has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also has NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, and a MicroSD card slot.

Repairability

During the first few weeks of the new year, Fairphone announced that their latest repairable-by-design smartphone had scored an impressive 10/10 in an iFixit teardown. This is their second smartphone to achieve a perfect score. This score demonstrates that Fairphone is on track to fulfill its promise of repairability.

Fairphone has been in business for several years now. It’s a social enterprise that aims to create repairable phones while sourcing materials in a sustainable manner. It also pays factory workers a living wage.

Fairphone has also released the Fairphone 3 Plus, a more advanced model with a 48-megapixel camera and upgraded data transfer rates. It also comes with a slightly improved selfie sensor.
